Viisi is a pentagonal shaped light designed by Gio Minelli and Marco Fossati, who were inspired by the geometrical lines and shapes found in architecture. From the forms of nature to places of worship, from the proportions of the human body, up to the big cities, all synergizing with the rules of geometry, capable of tapping the unconscious through the harmony between volumes. Because of Viisi's sharp angles, this parallelepiped seems monolithic, as if it were a full volume. It is, instead, a thin sheet, engraved using modern metal processing technologies and then folded by hand. Viisi is available in a suspension, in either 47 or 83 length, as well as a floor lamp 84 in height, finished in polyacrylic paint in white or black. Winner of the red dot award 2018.
