Zaneen Lighting is an exclusive distributor of European designed and manufactured LED, Architectural, Design and Exterior lighting products.
We are looking to expand the Z Team with a Full time Project Coordinator who will also provide Lighting Specification Support / Quotations. This applicant needs to be proactive, service-orientated, and a team player. 
You will have the opportunity to work closely with our regional managers, clients and representative agencies across North America. This position is based at our head office in northwest Toronto.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience with AutoCAD, AGi32 and VISUAL 
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills required, including the ability to proactively address issues as they occur 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required 
• Computer competency required, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 
• Proven ability to work on own initiative and in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy 
• Comfortable working with a team 
• Practical lighting design experience and/or degree/certificate/diploma in lighting design is helpful

Responsibilities

The candidate is responsible for supporting all aspects of projects related to the lighting business. Specific duties include but are not limited to: 

• Interest in the lighting and the electrical design industry
• Preparing quotations and shop drawings 
• Providing technical support by communicating Zaneen product information to representatives and clients 
• Assisting with product selection, preliminary design layout, and lighting calculations 
• Some administrative and customer service duties such as entering and matching sales orders to quotations and ensuring that project specific documentation is provided

• Involved and up to date with the design Market (architecture, interior design, lighting)
• Have one year experience in lighting / design community
• Excellent oral and written Communication skills
• Understand the structure of Project Planning to properly execute solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective Partnerships
• Highly capable of networking offline and online (LinkedIn)
• Great at Time Management
• Captivating presentation skills for product training

Responsibilities

• Actively promote Zaneen's products and brands to architects and interior designers in the GTA design community
• Work closely with our sales agents in a specified region by educating and assisting representatives on the Zaneen brand (Monthly travel 3-5 days)
• Generate specifications and maximize sales opportunities with clients
• Build lighting solutions with clients
• Cultivate new relationships and develop existing relationships
• Constantly build and strengthen your network online and offline within the design community
• Create marketing strategies tailored to clients for successful brand awareness
• Ensure accurate distribution of information and materials to all clients
• Manage and update the sales pipeline with effective CRM reporting
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner
