Description

Fiji is a collection of suspension and surface luminaires that combine the craftmanship of glass and the technique of controlled aluminum in a single harmony. A frosted glass bubble is inserted into a semi-ellipse of transparent glass, and a heatsink that includes al of the main mechanical and electronic functions can be found inside. This union creates a perception of depth and at the same time refracts the light towards the surface to be illuminated. The result of an extensive creation process is an extremely compact, functional component without any visible superfluous element. The concept behind Fiji is to give volume to the intangibility of light, ensuing elegance and harmony through a transparent ellipse.
