Onna is a collection of suspension and portable luminaires (table and floor lamp), available in a wide range of color finish options. The hand-braided cords are made from recycled plastic bottles, meeting Ole! Lighting's objective of originality in design, while using sustainable materials and unique artisanal methods and techniques. The cords are intertwined to create an organized-chaos appearance, extending across the metal structure to create a unique effect.
Like all of the lamps in the cord collection, Onna is produced with a polyester cord made from plastic bottles, some of them collected from the sea. This is part of a sustainability effort called "Oceans Without Plastic" with the goal of reducing the amount of plastic material in our environment, and instead reusing it by incorporating it into products that will have a long and useful life.
Onna is also available for outdoor use, with a version rated at IP66.
