Spokane International Airport

The expansion at Spokane International Airport’s Concourse C redefines the travel experience with a design approach inspired by hospitality. The goal was to welcome passengers into a space that feels warm, tranquil, and connected to the natural beauty of the region. Guests are greeted with soft illumination, warm wood tones, and thoughtfully curated furnishings, creating an inviting atmosphere. A key design element is the curated lighting scheme with our Oscura Max series. Specified by Schuler Shook and represented by Pulse Products, these decorative pendants provide a consistent warm glow and maintain the soothing ambiance throughout the day. The lighting system works in tandem with the automated window shading controls, which adjust in response to natural daylight levels to reduce glare and optimize energy use. Oscura Max features handcrafted blown-glass spheres with luminous, metalized finishes that shimmer when illuminated. Its presence contributes to the overall sense of calm, luxury, and connection to place that defines this transformative airport experience.
