Series Description

Mariola is a collection of suspension, surface and portable lamp fixtures. Every lampshade is made of a hand-braided cord constructed from recycled plastic bottles, meeting the objective of originality in design, while using sustainable materials and unique artisanal methods and techniques. Mariola features a visible metal structure, with a delicate weave and pattern with the cord material. With its cylindrical shape, Mariola brings a soft and comfortable design to a space. 

Like all of the lamps in the cord collection, Mariola is produced with a polyester cord made from plastic bottles, some of them collected from the sea. This is part of a sustainability effort called "Oceans Without Plastic" with the goal of reducing the amount of plastic material in our environment, and instead reusing it by incorporating it into products that will have a long and useful life. 

Mariola is also available for outdoor use, with a version rated at IP66.
