Sanofi Genzyme HQ - Cambridge Crossing

The Cambridge Crossing development in Boston, Massachusetts is now home to the pharmaceutical company, Sanofi Genzyme. Built on the site of a former rail yard, this new structure emerges as a "city within a city", serving as a central hub for the life sciences organization. With its glass and metal exterior, the building presents an inviting atmosphere for passerby. Specified by NBBJ and represented by Boston Light Source, we were thrilled to have our fixtures specified for the main lobby of this transformative building. The design vision centered on our Universe Square fixtures, creating a "hanging stars" effect throughout the lobby. Custom Universe Squares were created, achieving the desired effect while remaining within budget. The resulting custom suspension lights form a striking display that is both structured and harmonious, warmly welcoming everyone who steps into this captivating building.
