Mestizo Modern Mexican
Bringing modern Oaxacan food to Cambridge, Massachusetts, Mestizo Modern Mexican is passionate about serving vibrant, flavorful dishes that leave a lasting impression. Specified by 42 Architecture and LevelUp, and represented by Boston Light Source, our Drum suspension lights were selected to hang above the dining tables at the heart of the restaurant. Drum not only effectively illuminates the tables below, but also draws the eye towards the statement mural on the back wall. Inspired by the unique form of ethnic instruments, Drum features a handmade braided cord for its lampshade, crafted from recycled plastic bottles as part of a larger sustainability effort. The result of incorporating Drum in the design is a vibrant and colorful restaurant that reflects the spirited and flavorful food served at Mestizo Modern Mexican.
