11 East 26th Street

11 East 26th Street is a breathtaking two-building development directly overlooking Madison Square Park in New York City. The buildings flawlessly blend classic NYC architecture with contemporary workspaces and amenities. For one of the boutique offices in the building, a purposeful light was required to illuminate the kitchen island, while at the same presenting as a decorative feature. The vision was to create a wave-like design using multiple fixtures, while not overpowering the space. Specified by Castelli Design and represented by Specification Lighting Systems, our Snooker chrome was selected as the ideal fixture for the job! With the ability to move each Snooker fixture up and down using the innovative Gravity Lift feature, Snooker could easily accomplish the wave-like vision, while also offering the ability to re-imagine the design in the future. We created a custom canopy in order to place the Snooker fixtures close to one another, further enhancing the vision. Snookers also features thin suspension lines and small globes, accomplishing the goal of not overpowering the space. The chrome finish and twinkling light reflections off each Snooker globe adds to the stunning effect, creating a lasting impression in the heart of the Big Apple.
